HAHA my 3rd attempt installing snow leopard
when i boot nothing pops out again XD
maybe i didn't put enough kext
this time i added AppleATIATA.kext still nth pops out

maybe my mobo problem???
anyone have snow leopard working on ATI SB600 chipset??
what kext is needed??

I tried installing on;

Biostar 790GX
GTS250
X2 550BE unlocked
4 gigs ram

and it would just sit in a gray screen after getting out of verbose.. Will keep trying.

I got it installed but no audio. I installed voodooHDA.kext to extra/extension folder, sound came on but very garbled. Installed same kext using kext helper, same result. I cannot get the DSDT to compile without failing. Would it be better to add the voodooHDA.kext before booting to SL? Any other suggestions to get the sound going without involving DSDT?

Sound is fine using a USB headset.

hi there i followed the example step by set and when i boot up i get the error
Boot0: GPT
Boot0:Testing
Boot0:Testing
Boot0

one
Boot1: /boot

would i need to install the Apple VIA kexts as i have a via chipset?

So far so good.

Problems:
-iTunes partially does not work
-Spotlight 'Privacy' tab in System Preferences crashes system
-Internet seems slower?
-Microsoft Entourage 2008 SP2 does not work at all
-Pacifist 2.5.2 does not work

you can fix iTunes (on post no #3)
you need pacifist 2.6 on snow leopard
