I have Fakesmc v2.5 and dsmos kexts already in the Extra folder.
And after i removed the legacy kernel and restored mach_kernel.test7 ,Chameleon says "can't find Legacy_Kernel". The System don't boot. Asus A8N-E nForce4 - AMD Athlon (tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ - AC97 Audio nVidia GeForce 6600 LE 256MB - RAM 2048Mb - nForceLAN/ Realtek RTL 8139 |

You should change "legacy_kernel" to "mach_kernel" in "com.apple.Boot.plist" file.

That was a very good suggestion.
I changed the kernel names both in the boot plists of the Extra folder and the Library/ Preferences folder. Now the system boots, but hangs saying "code signing CS_invalid......etc. Asus A8N-E nForce4 - AMD Athlon (tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ - AC97 Audio nVidia GeForce 6600 LE 256MB - RAM 2048Mb - nForceLAN/ Realtek RTL 8139 |

Netkas said on netkas.org that you don't need dsmos anymore, use fakeSMC instead. |

Disabled IPv6, no changes.
Note: I have no such problems on Windows or leopard, just on SL. |
