Has someone successfully configured k40/k50's trackpad in 10.6.4, which kext do you use? please tell me, thanks.
I can use my trackpad/touchpad, but can't find any setting option in System Preferences. My laptop is K40in, T4300/G102m/elantech touchpad

i dont think we have an option to configure our trackpad

After using Mac OS X for some days on my K50IN it will freeze. It will only display the message: "Loaded HFS+ File "/System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist" when booting. After installation, Mac OS X will boot and I install Chameleon RC4 (AsereBLN 1.1.9) and the kexts from man_of_the_oak.
Some days later (mostly after sleeping, but I can't remember), the screen freezes and when I reboot I see only: "Loaded HFS+ File "/System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist". After reinstalling Mac OS X it will work again for some days (but all my files are deleted), and I need to install Chameleon and all the kexts over and over again. Is there any solution for this problem? Plz help me!

Yes just use you install dvd et just load the dvd , and exit the install , eject dvd and enjoy ASUS K50IN-X1 / C2D T6500 @ 2.1 Ghz / 4GB DDR2 800Mhz / nVidia G102M 512Mb / 15.6" HD/LED / ALC662 / Atheros wireless / Windows 7 / OS X 10.6.2 chameleon rc3+pcefi 10.4

still waiting for root devices
this is my laptop specs
Core Duo T6500 320 GB HDD 4GB Ram Geforce G102M Cuda 512MB i had try a lot of solution in this forum, other forum. but it still turn out with still waiting for root devices. Can anyone help me?
