CPUID Patching and Sysenter 10.6.5
I have an almost perfect running snow leopard
Phenom II x6 GA-MA785GM-US2H Snow leopard By Hazard 10.6.2 Install works perfect with update to 10.6.5 with new Legacy kernel and instructions on nawcoms blog. EXCEPT 32 bit Programs instantly crashing. I am TOTALLY new to this... Go easy on me! the only things i am totally blind on is the CPU patching, and patching in general. The issue: Marvins AMD utility not opening, it crashes, as well as instant crashes on all 32 bit apps (that means ALL of my apps to help me out in osx86). I downloaded the Sysenter package from nawcoms blog with various files included to patch with the new legacy kernel to load both 32 bit apps and 64 bit apps. but, I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO IT! If anyone could give me a complete idiots guide how to patch sysenter, or some help, i'd love you forever. I really need to be able to open Marvins AMD. If you need any additional computer information DO NOT hesitate to ask me. Last edited by guilfoya; 01-13-2011 at 07:53 PM. |

You don't. Use the patcher app made by anyvand, to patch /usr/lib/libSystem.B*.dylib file(s) and CPUIDs in pure 32-Bit code lile Carbon Framework. - Look for further instructions in the corresponding threads in the "New Releases" forum.
