Msi gx620

Hi there

I'm thinking of installing OSx10.5.7 on my msi gx620.
I know there are many distros of OSx but I'm not sure which one would be the most compatible with my laptop.
I've done searches, but a lot of my questions are too broad to yield any useful results.

These are my specs:

*Processor & Cache Intel*Core 2 Duo, P8600 , 2.4Ghz Processor *Operating System Windows Vista Home Premium *Chipsets Intel M45+ICH9M, 1066 FSB *System Memory 4GB (DDR2 800) *Graphics & Video Module nVIDIA Geforce 9600M GT, 512MB DDR3 VRAM *HDD 320GB SATA (5400RPM) *Optical Drive DVD Super Multi * Built-in 2.0 Mega Pixel Webcam *Card Reader 4-in-1 Card Reader, SD/MMC/MS/MS Pro *Communication Port Built-in Gigabit Ethernet LAN and Modem Module Built-in 802.11b/g/n WLAN Card / Bluetooth V2.0

I'm not exactly sure of the audio device, but the control panel for it is the REATEK HD Audio manager.

I've downloaded iATKOS v7. Is this a reasonable distro for my pc?

Also, while looking around, I've read that you need an external USB, dvd drive, or ext HD.
What exactly would I need to install OSx on my pc?

edit: apparently my audio device is the Realtek ALC888. I still don't know the model of my wireless card. How should I find this information?
nvm found it! I accidently had it turned off so it wasn't showing up. My wireless adapter is an Intel(R) Wireless WiFi Link 5100.
