Hi,
I have a toshiba L30-105 that have the same HW except Cpu; I've installed first a Kalyway 10.5.2 and after I've directly uploaded with iDeneb 10.5.8 ComboUpdate. You'd can try the same way and I'm closely sure it could work. ciao |

It depends heavily on how usable you want your machine. The key is graphic card support for Quartz Extreme & Core image. These are fundamental for a great deal of applications to even run. I have not seen anyone get the Xpress 200 to support QE/Ci though I have not looked too hard. Flexer lists using Callisto so it looks like he/she attempted to get QE/Ci.
Without this support some apps will not open and you may have other video related problems. So like I said it depends on what you are using it for. I have used unsupported graphics on a few rigs to playing around but it does limit you. You can discuss with flexer what he/she uses the laptop for and see if it would work for you. P.S. Id love to here from anyone that managed to get this chipset supported 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers.
