Tried Everything USB Lion Keeps crashing right after I select Language-OsInstall?
So basically this is what happens . OSX Lion starts to load from USB stick fine, I get as far as the GUI showing up and language selection. I choose English and then immediately after the installation crashes and this error shows up.
"Bookmark failed to issue extension for item (depth=4000): No such file or directory dyld: Symbol not found: _OSProductManagerProductCookieFileName Reference from: /System/Installation/CDIS/Mac OS X Installer.app/Contents/MacOS/Mac OS X Installer Expected in: /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/Install.Framework/Frameworks/OsInstall.framework/Versions/A/OSInstall" Ive tried multiple "OSInstall" files in the A folder and various Osinstall.mpkg files in Packages folder and I keep getting this same error. Any ideas? Hardare = Intel i3 2125, Gigabyte GAH61 -DS2 |

SOLVED IT! Sorry lol.
Here was the solution. I was trying ALOT of different OSinstall and Osinstall.mpkg BUT not the right one for the Lion I was using. I had 10.7.2 Lion and I was trying 10.7.0/1 OSinstall files. Keep note to use the right Osinstall files for any other newbies like myself. 💡 Deploy cloud instances seamlessly on DigitalOcean. Free credits ($100) for InfMac readers. |
