Ah, I was hoping you were using a USB one and had selected the PS/2 drivers by mistake.

Unfortunately I have no experience of using a PS/2 keyboard or mouse under OS X. I've had a quick look on qoogle and can't see an obvious fix.

Can you get into OS X or are you getting a kernel panic?

You should try a usb kb or with another distro.

AsRock P45TS | C2D E8200 | GeForce 8600GTS
Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.1 + Windows 7 Ultimate 6.1.7600 + Fedora 11

Boot from the installer DVD, partition, usb drive, whatever you used to install, now launch a terminal and delete or move the kext, both Caches and Extensions.mkext, then replace it with the one you want to try.

Rinse, lather, repeat till you find one that works for you.
