Have you tried to boot with -x flag for the first time ? If it works configure your PC and then when you see login windows, restart. I don`t know why but first boot often ( at least on my pc ) works...

i had the same problem - it was caused by the...

i had the same problem - it was caused by the audio kexts. try to use different kexts, if nothing else helps use azalia and buy yourself and usb audio stick, they are for 5$ - that solution worked...

as far as i know - it won`t work. for phenom quad core - try LawlessPPC Leopard 10.5.4 dvd, it`s confirmed to work on phenom systems, and it`s based on Zephy`s release.
