make sure you are removing from the proper place. Because you are using the DVD to boot, if you point to "/System/Library/Extensions/" it will assume you are talking about the DVD's root structure.....

The difference between the two AppleNForceATA kexts are that the old one barely works with DVDs in the drive once installed. the "test" one actually isn't a testing kext anymore... it actually works...
