Red face Where to start

Hello,

I am really new to the entire process and I was wondering if someone would care to help. (It would be greatly appreciated). I have a HP laptop with an amd dual core processor. Can someone list everything I need to install / download to install Leopard. Im so sick of trying and every other forum leads me to failure.
