Updating to 10.5.5 from 10.5.2

Ok so I've got a fully working 10.5.2 from Zephyroth's Rev2. I've got the AMD Software Updater but problem is when I download and install the updates my systems then becomes unusable. I boot into safe mode and reinstall my networking, audio and video kexts but that only seems to get me from the white apple screen crash to a black screen with the restart message.

here are my specs:

Mobo: Asus AN8-E (nforce 4 chipset with AC97 audio)
Processor: Athlon 64 3200+
RAM: 2.5GB
GFX: Asus Radeon x1600 EAX 256mb
HDD: WD800JB (80gb western digital)

Ok now should I be selecting the modify only option that appears in the updater or do I just simply download the updates and reinstall all my kexts?
