Niresh12495 made a 10.7.3 install iso with the amd kernel, here it is:

......no warez .link deleted AKI

From Niresh12495 Facebook:

"AMD Users Must Type
"Kernel Cache"=\amd arch=i386
or
"Kernel Cache"=\amd arch=i386 -v
for Verbose Mode
Have Tested on an AMD Perfecly Working
and Don't Forgot to Select arch=i386 32 bit Package Under Chameleon Boot Commands
and Good Bye From Me Until Sept
Here Is The Direct Link To Download"

I'm downloading right now

System
  • MoBo: MSI K9N2GM-FD, Chipset GeForce 8200 (MCP78)
  • CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ @3,02 Ghz
  • RAM: Kingston 2GB DDR2 800Mhz + Corsair 2GB DDR2 800Mhz @747Mhz
  • VGA: EVGA 9800GT SSC
  • HDD: 300GB WD SATAII
  • Optical Drive: Sony SATA 24X
  • OS: Vanilla Mac OS X Server 10.6.0 + Nawcom ModCD, upgraded to 10.6.8 and Windows 7 x64.
Everything works, except sleep, so system isn't Energy Star compilant .

I can confirm that DP2 Finder works, but it won't on startup for some reason it causes a hang before the desktop. Moving it before boot and placing it in /System/Library/CoreServices after boot works.

GA-Z68XP-UD3: Lion 10.7.3, Windows 7 Professional 64bit SP1 and FreeBSD 9-RELEASE, Core i5 2500K @ 3.3GHz, 16GB 1333 Mhz DDR3 ram(Soon), 1GB GDDR5 Nvidia Geforce GTX 560 Ti, 2X 1TB Samsung F3 SATA HDDs, 1X WDC Blue 500GB HDD; Dell Mini 10v: Obsidian Black, 2GB DDR2 533MHz Ram, 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270, 120GB HDD, 6-Cell, Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8 Build 10K549

You don't replace it. You just download and run it. Better alternative would to use the DP2 Finder. But so far noone has uploaded it..

ACPI Error

Hey Everyone!

I've been trying also but I always get a kernel panic during boot:

"Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".\n"@\Users/nawcom/Builds/xnu-1504.9.26/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp:1393"

Any ideas?
