Click the "tools" (I think) bar on the menubar....

Click the "tools" (I think) bar on the menubar. Click Disk Utilities, and format your HD to HFS+

Then choose the HDD.

I know on a Real mac, you processor is scaled down in performance when not in use, how do you fin out if it works on a hackintosh? I want my i7 to scale down when not in use to save energy.

With: 26.4 Seconds
Without: 16.2 Seconds
