Yeah, I always say the same, people with amd systems must to have a second working leo/tiger for the updates, this is the safest way.

With Guid is very simple, with a success install of leopard...

are you in windows? you can use macdrive or transmac, copy the old kernel(root) and the system.kext(/system/library/extensions), then copy the patches folder to the leo root and boot with -s and type...

The kext that you are injecting into the install dvd is not copied to the sata disk, because this kext only is for you can see the sata hd, and the installer copy the kext wihin of installers pkg, so...

ok, pues entonces fija el boot para mbr como te he dicho antes y listo. Para saber la ID de tu disco, puedes iniar sobre el instalador y abrir el terminal y teclear:

mount -uw /
diskutil list...

Para fijar el mbr usa el instalador inicia con -s

mount -uw /

./startupfiletool -v...
